OffStreet Press

OffStreet Press bangs the drum for arts, music and culture in Brisbane and beyond. We connect arts-workers and audiences — and aim to keep the conversation going around arts and music in Queensland.

When Rave Magazine closed its pages unexpectedly in June of 2012, it left a significant gap in Brisbane arts and music coverage and holes in the hearts of contributors and staff.

OffStreet Press is staffed entirely by volunteers: former Rave contributors and enthusiastic civilians passionate about Brisbane’s creative communities. Think of us as Rave’s keen kid sister; this blog is the debutant ball. Soon, we’ll have a grown-up website, with everything you need to keep your finger on the pulse of arts and music in south-east Queensland.

In the meantime, we print interviews, reviews, blogs and gig listings here at http://www.offstreetpress.com. We’re very keen for feedback. If you’re an artist, music, arts-worker or PR representative looking to promote your gig, we want to support you. Tell us what you need.

Thank you for reading. We’re glad you’re here.
