Hello, there.

Rave Magazine closed its pages unexpectedly on June 26. It left a significant gap in Brisbane arts and music coverage and holes in the hearts of contributors and staff.

OffStreet Press is a group of former Rave contributors and enthusiastic civilians passionate about Brisbane’s creative communities. We intend to nurture a phoenix from the ashes of Rave Magazine. We do not represent the business, which has been laid to rest — we are something new.

We devote this corner of the Internet to listings, new content, and salvaging homeless Rave copy. OffStreet Press will be located here until we secure the support and funding that will enable us to start a grown-up website.

OffStreet Press promotes arts, music and culture in Brisbane and beyond. Think of us as Rave’s keen kid sister; this blog is the debutant ball.

The first lot of arts listings (#1048 for Rave — and #01 for us) are up and ready for your keen eye here.

We want this website to grow and improve. If you are a lost Raver with homeless content, we can give it shelter. If you’re an artist, music, arts-worker or PR representative looking to promote your gig, we want to support you. Tell us what you need.

Please direct queries and listings to zen.rave[at]gmail[dot]com for the time being.

Thank you for reading. We’re glad you’re here.
